Tasmanian Netball League 2025 live stream: Cripps v Devon, Round 7
It was a contest that proved worthy of two sides set to contend for finals and in the end, it was Cripps who survived a second-half comeback from Devon in round 7. Watch the REPLAY here.
Cripps Waratah’s season is well and truly back on track after securing a second-straight win over a spirited Devon outfit on Saturday.
The 2024 finalists were challenged throughout the round 7 contest, but eventually walked away 42-38 winners.
After taking a 25-15 lead into halftime, it appeared Cripps would run away with the contest.
But the visitors returned after the break with much more fight and intent, eventually winning the second-half 23-17.

PREVIEW
It’s the clichéd “eight-point game”, but Devon coach Dean Stubbs has urged his squad to return to their brand of netball when a top four spot goes on the line against Cripps Waratah on Saturday.
Both teams have won two of five games entering the contest and look likely to battle for the fourth and last semi-final spot this Tasmanian Netball League season.
The Devon versus Cripps clash will be live and exclusive on KommunityTV from 4.30pm with the U19s clash also available from 3pm.
Devon has dropped three straight games after wins over bottom two sides Karana and South East Suns in week one.
They were competitive in single figure defeats to Kingston and the Hawks, before the unbeaten Cavaliers beat them by 30 last week.
“It wasn’t the brand of netball the girls normally play and they know that within themselves it was an off day,” Stubbs said.
“The girls play a very structured, short sharp and fast paced game which is normally very composed. I think we just lost our composure.
“This is our opportunity to set ourselves up for a good run home and try and solidify a spot in the top four. We don’t want to be chasing games later in the season to do that.
“We treat every game like it’s important. We just want to stick to our style and make sure we execute what we do well.”
Stubbs, who is in his first season as head coach, is still experimenting with the mix of his squad with a few key new players in the line-up.
“There’s a lot of talent in our team which is a good thing, but sometimes it gives you a headache,” he said.
“We’ve got a few new faces with senior experience which helps our young players.”
