South Australian contenders Henley High have continued their brilliant start to the tournament, as the finals picture began to clear up at the schools championships. Watch the day two REPLAYS.
Henley High have sent a clear message to the rest of the Under-20 Division 1 women’s teams that they have come to play on the Gold Coast.
The Adelaide school will head into the final day of round games unbeaten on top of Pool B after dominating rivals Hillcrest Christian College 71-33 in the final match of the night on court four.

Annie Caldow has been Henley High’s best across the opening two days of the tournament, averaging more than 14 points per game, and had been a key figure in the school’s earlier win over Kings Christian College on Tuesday.
Earlier on court four Berwick College’s Stella O’Loughlin pulled out a fine display of shooting to help the Victorian side power past last year’s Championship silver medallists Westfields Sports High.
O’Loughlin hit two from beyond the arc in a personal haul of 15 points as the Berwick girls squeezed their way past the Sydneysiders 41-37.

It wasn’t all roses for the kids from Berwick College though, with the school’s Under-20 Div 1 boys side falling to intrastate rivals Marcellin College.
Marcellin College star Harrison Beauchamp continued his stellar national championships with 30 points to help Marcellin to a 53-48 win. The Victorian representative is averaging 27 points per game over the opening two days of the tournament.

The South Australians shocked their Victorian rivals in a five-point upset on the opening day of the tournament and will be determined not to let the momentum slip.
Henley face a tough double act on day two, taking on Kings Christian College in the morning session and Hillcrest Christian College in the final match of the day.

Berwick College face the same tough test on day two, clashing with last year’s Under-17 Division 1 winners Hillcrest in the opening game of the day before backing up against Kings Christian College.
Kendra Rivet (21 points) was a shining light for the Berwick side on the opening day, but she will need to find some more from her support cast on Tuesday if they are to get back into finals contention.
Berwick College’s boys side will also be in action on court four, when they clash with opening day winners Marcellin College.
