Twice on Wednesday the NBA Global Academy found itself down at half-time, twice it dialled things up several notches in the third to storm to victory.
The invitational side was too good for both New South Wales and Tasmania in come from behind wins at the Basketball Australia Under-20 & Ivor Burge National Championships.
Both Court 4 clashes were among six live streamed on KommunityTV.
First, the NBA GA trailled NSW before a 32-18 third term set up a 17-point victory.
Then, later in the day, they put the afterburners on in a 38-15 third quarter against Tasmania to romp to a 16-point triumph.
The highly rated Tamatoa Isaac and Sebastien Emenalo starred in both matches with Isaac putting up a game-high 27 points in the later game.
Defending champions Victoria have made clear their intentions of going back-to-back with a resounding 111-point victory against Western Australia in the Ivor Burge women.
Evangeline Patterson was superb with a game-high 24 points in a thoroughly dominant performance, while Jordo-Ella Groenewegen tipped in 18 and Jaime-lee Getson finished with 16.
Victoria Navy meanwhile rebounded from a nine-point quarter-time deficit to dispatch ACT by 13 points in a highly competitive and entertaining under-20 women encounter.
With Jessica Smith (18) in fine touch around the boards and captain Josie Agnew leading from the front, the Victorians overran their rivals in the second half after nothing could separate both sides at the main break.
In the much-anticipated men’s under-20 clash between Victoria Navy and Western Australia, two 20-point contributions have proved the difference.
Led by captain Ryder Cheesman and Austin Foxwell, both with 20 points, Victoria Navy had too much firepower in the end for their rivals as they recorded a convincing 89-68 win.
Victoria Navy now has two wins after seeing off Tasmania 111-100 in their Monday assignment, while WA slumped to consecutive losses following their opening day 56-66 defeat to NSW.

A free-scoring Victoria Navy men’s side will have its eyes on another potent attacking display when it squares off with Western Australia in Ballarat.
The clash – tipping off at 3pm – will be one of the headline acts on Court 4 at the Basketball Australia Under-20 & Ivor Burge National Championships on Wednesday.
Victoria’s second side showed why it must still be considered a genuine threat at the tournament by defeating Tasmania in a 111-100 throwdown on the opening day.
It included a barnstorming 39-point third quarter.

Austin Foxwell drained eight from beyond the arc as he poured in 32 points for Navy, while captain Ryder Cheesman (25 points) and Lachlan Kanngiesser (17) ensured their offence remained dynamic and multi faceted.
The Victorians then backed it up with a 92-78 victory over the NBA Global Academy to close out the day with Joel Robinson recording a game-high 27.
WA meanwhile went down to New South Wales by 10 points, despite a strong showing from guard Harrison Fitzgerald.
Kicking off the Court 4 action on Day 2 will be the Ivor Burge women as they begin their campaign for gold.
Defending champions Victoria and Western Australia have the honour of getting the tournament underway from 9.30am before its NSW against Queensland in the IB men at 5.30pm.
Every match of the Basketball Australia Under-20 and Ivor Burge National Championships will be exclusively live streamed on KommunityTV from January 28 – February 2.
