2025-26 NTFL live stream: NT News, KommunityTV to broadcast all the premier league footy action
There’s a new ladder leader second half of the NTFL season officially gets underway – but the upcoming super Saturday threatens to change things again. Find out how to watch LIVE.
PINT have usurped Southern Districts’ spot on top of the NTFL ladder but plenty of change could come this week as Saturday looks set to deliver three absolute thrillers.
The top-six sides are all set to face off in back-to-back matches that may have a major impact on the rest of the season.
And as always the NT News and KommunityTV will bring you every game from Round 10 live and exclusive.
We kick things off with our women’s match on Friday night between the Darwin Buffaloes and Wanderers at Cazalys Arena from 6pm.
This is a key battle in the fight for the last finals position with both currently sitting on 14 competition points and the winner here going four points ahead in the battle for fifth.
Then comes the men’s match – live and free on KommunityTV from 8pm – between the same clubs with the Buffaloes eyeing this match as their own chance back into contention.
A win here will be the Double Blues fourth of the season, but Wanderers have shown in spurts what they’re capable of particularly when the likes of Cody Leggett and Frazer Bradley get on top.
Then comes Saturday, which starts with the third and final Tiwi home game of the season at Wurrumiyanga against the Nightcliff Tigers from 1.30pm.
Nightcliff have a strong case to make for the side to beat right now beating both of last years grand final teams back-to-back, but the Bombers will want a home win.
Then we get our second grand final rematch of the season as St Mary’s travel to Norbuilt Oval where Southern Districts will be waiting from 4pm.
The Crocs were beaten for the first time in 17 games last round and will want to very quickly snap back to winning ways against a Saints side needing to stay in touch with the top five.
And finally we have new top side PINT against a Waratah outfit that is very much in form at Gardens Oval from 6.30pm.
The Greenants are riding high at the moment with just one loss this season, but Waratah have mixed it with some top teams of late and have got better for the practice.
ROUND 9
It’s all systems go for the NTFL once more with Cyclone Fina in the rear view and the action to return at the halfway point of the season.
The cyclone caused the abandonment of all Round 8 matches last week, awarding two points to each side that was set to play, and gave every side a chance to reset after a competitive start to the season.
Round 9 is set to play home to some big clashes, including a return home for Tiwi, and as always the NT News and KommunityTV will bring you every game live and exclusive.
It all kicks off with our free to view game at Wurrumiyanga Oval between the Tiwi Bombers and Waratah from 1.30pm on Saturday.
The Bombers are always fierce competition on the island and considering Waratah’s recent strong form, this match will be a must-watch.
Attention then turns to TIO Stadium for the women’s clash between the league’s frontrunners, Nightcliff Tigers, and the big improvers in Southern Districts from 2pm.
Nightcliff remain unbeaten while the Crocs have developed a squad that can mix it with the top sides and will certainly return to finals this season.
The men’s clash between Nightcliff and Southern Districts from 4pm is sure to attract plenty of eyeballs with former North Melbourne player Tarryn Thomas a chance to play his first game for the Crocs since his AFL contract was torn up.
The final Saturday match-up kicks off from 6.30pm between the Darwin Buffaloes and Palmerston Magpies, with both sides desperately wanting to return to the winners list after a week off.
The first Sunday game of the season will then close out the round with the Wanderers looking to upset second-placed PINT at Tracy Village Oval from 4pm.
ROUND 8
Matches have been cancelled and points will be split as Tropical Cyclone Fina forces Round 8 of the NTFL to be abandoned.
AFL Northern Territory announced on Thursday evening all scheduled games from November 21-24 had been called off due to the anticipated impact of the cyclone.
It means all five of KommunityTV’s scheduled Round 8 live stream matches will not be broadcast.

AFLNT announced all matches will be treated as washouts, with each team awarded two premiership points and no scores recorded.
“The evolving nature of Tropical Cyclone Fina means we cannot take any risks,” Head of AFLNT Sam Gibson said.
“Following the latest advice from the Bureau of Meteorology and in line with our Extreme Weather Policy, we’ve made the decision to cancel matches to protect players, officials, and the wider football community as the cyclone moves through the Top End.”
ROUND 7
A couple of thrillers between the league’s top men’s sides are on the agenda for Round 7 of the NTFL while the Nightcliff and St Mary’s women clash in a grand final rematch.
And as always the NT News and KommunityTV will be there to stream every moment of the action live and exclusive.
Our coverage starts under lights at Norbuilt Oval from 8pm on Friday night as Southern Districts take on a Waratah outfit fresh off a stunning defeat of Nightcliff.
The Crocs remain the benchmark side but will be wary of this one given Waratah’s defensive ability and momentum on the back of victory over a competition heavyweight.
Then it’s a return to TIO Stadium after two weeks away as the Tiwi Bombers take on Wanderers from 2pm on Saturday.
Tiwi are back-to-back winners and have the ability to make it three on the bounce, but the Wanderers will want to make an impact.
PINT meanwhile return from their bye in a home face-off against the Palmerston Magpies at DXC Arena from 4.30pm and will go in as favourites given their hot start to the year.
At the same time, we have the women’s grand final rematch between the St Mary’s and Nightcliff at TIO Stadium.
To nobody’s surprise, they’ve been the competition’s top two teams to this stage of the season and remain unbeaten so far with both out to keep that streak alive.
It then all wraps up with a clash between two of the men’s big dogs in St Mary’s and the Nightcliff Tigers from 6.30pm.
The Saints smashed their old rivals in the Buffaloes last week with Jackson Calder scoring 10 goals, but Nightcliff have the ability to limit their big ball winners and will fancy their chances.
ROUND 6
We’re five weeks into the 2025-26 NTFL season and the contenders are beginning to assert themselves with plenty to play for heading into Round 6.
And again the NT News and KommunityTV will be there to stream every moment of the action, including the Friday night clash between old rivals St Mary’s and the Darwin Buffaloes.
That match will kick the round into action at Gardens Oval from 7pm in what is expected to be a heated tie between two sides on two wins each.
Saints will fancy themselves after a close defeat to second-placed PINT though Gardens Oval has not been the happiest hunting ground for the side in recent times.
On Saturday it’s over to Cazalys Arena as the Palmerston Magpies host the Tiwi Bombers from 2pm in this week’s free-to-view match, with the former still in need of their first win of the season.
The Bombers proved themselves on their home deck last week and while Palmerston will want a similar boost it’s Tiwi that currently have the firepower.
From 4pm we head off for our first match of the season at Tracy Village Oval where Wanderers will host the difficult challenge of a post-bye Southern Districts outfit.
The Muk Muks are still on one win for the season while the star-studded Crocs have yet to be beaten and after a rest week will want to keep it that way.
At the same time we return to Gardens Oval for our women’s match between Nightcliff and Waratah.
The Tigers have had a strong start to their season with big wins in each of their matches while Waratah will want to lift their own record on their home deck.
Then from 6.30pm it’s over to the men’s sides with Nightcliff hoping to continue their strong form in that division too, while Waratah are hunting their first consecutive wins of the season.
Tahs are unbeaten on their home deck so far, but this will be their biggest visiting challenge of the three games they’ve played at Gardens Oval.
ROUND 5
The Tiwi Bombers will get to show off their home deck for the first time this season, while early contenders PINT and St Mary’s battle it out in Round 5 of the NTFL this weekend.
And again the NT News and KommunityTV will be there to stream every moment of the action whether it’s the top-three clash or Tiwi’s homecoming.
However, the action starts on Friday night with Nightcliff hosting Palmerston at home from 7.30pm.
The Tigers can go two from two at home with their own stacked squad starting to gel, while Palmerston – captained by former Nightcliff champ Shaun Wilson – are hunting their first win of the year.
Then on Saturday it’s over to Wurrumiyanga Oval for the Bombers’ first home game of the season against the Darwin Buffaloes from 1.30pm.
Tiwi will want a win from this one after a couple of close losses with Willie Rioli, and the possibility of Jeremy Finlayson, sure to draw a crowd of support.
Back at Gardens Oval is our women’s match between hosts Waratah and a Wanderers outfit with renewed confidence from 4pm.
The Muk Muks won their first match in four seasons last time out and have a real chance to go back-to-back if their foes aren’t careful.
Then there’s the big one from 5pm between second-placed PINT and the side sitting third in St Mary’s at DXC Arena in this round’s free to view match.
PINT lost their first match of the year last time out while Saints have started to find their pace this season unleashing a goal scoring threat in Luke Patterson, who kicked seven goals on Tiwi.
And finally, it’s back to Gardens Oval for a face-off between Waratah and Wanderers from 6.30pm.
Both sides sit with just one win to their name and will need to claim it to gain some confidence heading into the next batch of games.
ROUND 4
There’s some huge match-ups lined up this weekend as the NTFL braces for what will be a Round 4 super Saturday, including another star inclusion.
Willie Rioli will play his first game back for the Tiwi Bombers after retiring from the AFL and coincidentally that comes against his junior club St Mary’s.
And again the NT News and KommunityTV will be there to stream every moment from his Top End return, along with round four’s other match-ups.
First up is the women’s match between Wanderers and the Palmerston Magpies at TIO Stadium from 12pm.
Palmerston come in as favourites as their young players look for two in a row, but Wanderers have AFLW goal of the year winner Ashanti Bush to give them a boost.
Rioli’s return will follow when the Tiwi Bombers and St Mary’s clash from 2pm.
The Bombers have battled through a tough run of opponents but will hope the presence Rioli brings will provide a boost against the Saints, who have one win from their two matches.
Nightcliff will play their first home game of the season at Nightcliff Oval against the Darwin Buffaloes from 4pm.
The Tigers come in from the bye while the Buffaloes are gunning to prove they can mix it with the top sides.
Unbeaten sides Southern Districts and PINT will clash at Norbuilt Oval from 6pm in what could shape as an early finals preview.
The match has some added history given it’s the first Crocs home game to be played under their new lights and the reigning premiers will want to turn it on in front of their fans.
The Wanderers and Palmerston Magpies men’s clash will then round out proceedings at TIO Stadium from 6.30pm.
ROUND 3
It has been a gripping start to the NTFL season with plenty of big names making their way north, and this weekend will feature yet another one with Dane Swan set to make his Top End debut.
The AFL premiership player and Brownlow Medal winner arrives in the NT with plenty of fanfare as he prepares to don the red and white of Waratah.
And again the NT News and KommunityTV will be there to stream every moment in what is shaping up to be another huge round.
The action starts with the women’s match between the Tiwi Bombers and PINT from 12pm on Saturday with the Bombers hoping to land their first win of the season.
Tiwi have raced to early leads in both their opening rounds but have yet to seal the deal, while the Queenants have been dominant in their clashes.
Then it’s over to the men again at TIO Stadium from 2pm with both sides so far having proven themselves potential powers for the season ahead.
PINT are still unbeaten, and with James Rowe in the forward line appear more settled in the forwards than recent years, while the Bombers have the pace and skills you can rely on them to have.
Then we head over to Gardens Oval for the match so many are waiting for with Dane Swan playing for Waratah against the Palmerston Magpies from 4.30pm.
Swan will finally run out for the Tahs after missing out in 2021 and is sure to lift a potential powerhouse side that have yet to get their win.
St Mary’s return to the action after their bye round with a face-off against traditional rivals Wanderers from 6.30pm at TIO Stadium.
The Muk Muks are one side that will want to pick up their performances after some opening round disappointments, but they’re usually a side that turn up when against the Saints.
Finally, on Sunday, the round three free to view game will take place between reigning premiers Southern Districts and the Darwin Buffaloes at Cazalys Arena from 4pm.
Both sides remain unbeaten from their opening two matches, with Districts unveiling their fair share of stars this season.
ROUND 2
The NTFL is well and truly back and the action only heats up in the Top End this weekend with some genuine stars of the footy world looking to dominate.
And again the NT News and KommunityTV will be there to stream every moment in what is shaping up to be another huge round.
PINT and Wanderers kickstart the action on Friday night in what will be this round’s free to view men’s match which is sure to catch plenty of attention as some new gun recruits settle in.
The clash takes place from 8pm with the Greenants the side to look out for after they kicked off their season with a bang as Archie Stevens put in a standout 40-disposal display.
Then we have a jam-packed Saturday with a full slate of fixtures starting with our women’s match between the Tiwi Bombers and Waratah from 12pm.
The Tahs in particular will want to right the course after their opening round showing against PINT, but the Bombers are also targeting their first win of the season.
Then, as the heat continues, the men’s sides will take to the field from 2pm, which could be the first match of the season for Tiwi recruit Willie Rioli Jr.
Both teams are regarded as finals contenders but are still searching for their first wins after dropping close encounters in the opening round.
We move away from TIO Stadium for the first time this season at 4pm when we head out to Cazalys Arena for the first match of the season for the Palmerston Magpies against the Darwin Buffaloes.
The Double Blues may have been inaccurate in front of goal last week but put a strong marker down for themselves in what was a dominant opening round showing against Wanderers.
Then finally it’s back to TIO for what is expected to be a real thriller of a match between premiership hopefuls Southern Districts and the Nightcliff Tigers from 6.30pm.
The reigning premiers have their list full of AFL talent, but the Tigers aren’t short of their own stars, led by Brodie Filo who was the standout performer of Round 1 with 41 touches.
ROUND 1
The AFL grand final may be done but footy is just getting started up north as the NTFL gets set to kick into life for the 2025-26 season – and once again we’ll be your one-stop shop for all the action.
The NT News and KommunityTV have joined forces with AFL Northern Territory to bring you every minute of the Men’s Premier League campaign live and exclusive for the sixth straight season.
For the first time, one match each round from the men’s top division will be broadcast free on News Corp Australia mastheads.
And the best of the Women’s Premier League will be on show too with a live game of the week across the season.
Head of AFL Northern Territory Sam Gibson said the live stream coverage would bring the competition to more fans in the NT and beyond.
“We look forward to continuing our partnership with the NT News and KommunityTV for a sixth consecutive season, delivering the excitement and energy of Territory footy to fans right across the country,” he said.
“With a free-to-air game each round, it’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase the unique talent and passion that defines the TIO NTFL competition to an even larger audience.”
As has become a tradition at this stage, there’s no shortage of former AFL talent making its way into the competition.
Willie Rioli Jr recently announced his retirement from the league and will make a home coming to the Tiwi Bombers, and could bring fellow Port Adelaide forward Jeremy Finlayson with him.
Quinton Narkle is another recently retired AFL player who sparked instant NTFL attention when he announced a move to the Top End, until he was snapped up by Southern Districts.
That’s the reigning premier Crocs who are expected to be a force to be reckoned with again this season with their stable of elite players including Jed Anderson and Steven Motlop.
Then there’s the talents that have already made their name in the Top End such as last year’s Nichols medal winner Brodie Filo and St Mary’s captain Dylan Landt.
The opening week starts with a bang on Thursday night as the Tiwi Bombers take on the Nightcliff Tigers live and free on KommunityTV from 7.15pm at TIO Stadium.
Then there’s our first women’s match of the season between reigning premiers St Mary’s and a new look Southern Districts from 6pm on Friday.
The grand final rematch between the Crocs and Saints will follow from 8pm, with a lot of interest in who the sides will bring to the party.
That momentum then carries into the weekend with old rivals Wanderers and the Darwin Buffaloes doing battle from 2pm on Saturday.
And finally on Sunday we have Waratah and PINT up against each other from 4pm, with each side eager to make a finals push.
The Palmerston Magpies will resume their season in Round 2 following the opening round bye.
