Goulburn Valley: Damian Drum and John Lamont to co-coach against Ovens and Murray
Damian Drum will return to the country football coaching ranks when he takes on a co-coaching job for a rep team in May.
Damian Drum will end a 21-year absence from the football coaching ranks when he takes on the co-coach job of the Goulburn Valley interleague team with current Mooroopna coach John Lamont.
The GV board ticked off the dual appointment this week for its clash against arch-rival Ovens and Murray at the Albury Sportsground in May.
Drum’s last coaching job was in charge of the now defunct Bendigo VFL team in 2002.
At the end of that season he made a successful entry to state politics before a switch to the federal arena.
