THE initial 37-man Victoria Country squad has been released.

Vic Country, which will once against be coached by Hawthorn legend Peter Knights, is preparing to take on Vic Metro in the 2016 AFL Victoria Community Cup on July 10.

Vic Metro currently holds bragging rights over the country side after a 38-point win back in 2014.

Vic Country under-19 coach Damien Sexton’s preliminary squad, which will take on an under-19 Victorian Amateur Football Association team, includes players from 14 different leagues.

Vic Country No. 1, Vic Country No. 2 and Vic Country under-19s scored a 3-0 clean sweep against VAFA teams last year.
