Y Bell Ranch photos: Oregon property’s attention-grabbing taxidermy decor
A ranch in Oregon with a wild side is on the market with a asking price in the tens of millions. Full details and photos here.
THE decor in this Oregon, United States, ranch gives Melbourne Museum’s soon-to-close taxidermy exhibition ‘Wild’ a run for its money.
The Y Bell Ranch is on the market for $US29 million ($AU37.3 million) and photos of the listing from Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty are giving prospective buyers a glimpse behind closed doors of the property, dubbed “distinctive, iconic, unmatched”.
There is a lot of features to appreciate for the asking price. A main house, guesthouse and ranch manager’s house. Cascade Mountain views. Fireplaces. Pool and hot tub. Plenty of farm infrastructure, including barns, pens and a “state of the art” indoor arena.
There is also mention of a 9196 sq ft (854sqm) trophy room — and if it is referring to the stuffed rather than shiny kind of trophy, then it doesn’t appear that the owners have limited themselves to just one room, if the photos on the listing are anything to go by.
From the floor, fireplaces, walls, benchtops, there are gazes coming from every direction in several rooms. It is quite a menagerie.
The property has been listed on the website since mid-2019, and viewed more than 22,800 times.
