A rural Victorian landmark homestead and farm in the state’s north east is for sale and could field offers in the vicinity of $30 million.
Regarded as one of the state’s finest holdings, the showpiece Allanvale property, located 9km east of Avenel, is on the market.
Allanvale, is a sprawling 1233ha rural estate which includes a Edwardian homestead, extensive improvements and highly productive pastures.
The vendors are selling the property after it was purchased more than two decades ago when it was 728ha.
Since then the vendors have bought additional land and invested heavily in infrastructure to optimise their enterprise.
The vendors have primarily used Allanvale for grazing, with 350 cows plus followers on the farm, with scope to increase with further development.
Elders Real Estate selling agent Nick Myer said Allanvale was one of Victoria’s premier rural estates.
