The property also has scope to carry more livestock.
Selling agent James Beer said it was an “outstanding grazing property”.
The property features a combination of volcanic soils and barrier country with an average annual rainfall of 750mm.
“The property comprises high-quality soil types, reliable rainfall, improved pastures and an excellent fertiliser history, which will be attractive to both local and corporate purchasers,” James said.
Every paddock has reticulated water via a concrete trough while the quality fencing has been
well-maintained or renewed.
There is also a well-designed laneway system throughout the property for easy access.
Other infrastructure includes two shearing sheds — the main shed is on Murraba with four stands, while the smaller shed is on Glenholme with two stands — cattle yards and numerous machinery, hay and storage sheds.
The architecturally designed main homestead, situated on Murraba, was built in 1956 and features four bedrooms, open-plan living, formal dining and an additional bedroom or study.
It is set within a low-maintenance garden with citrus trees and also has a swimming pool.
There are three additional houses on the property, but James said some were in need of renovation.
The property is located between Port Fairy and Penshurst and is about 20km from Hawkesdale.
Murraba, Maloneys and Glenholme is being offered for sale on a walk-in, walk-out basis by expressions of interest.
