More clearing sales across the country are being called off. See which companies have cancelled their auctions here.

CLEARING sales across the country are being cancelled, with more companies saying their auctions will not go ahead.

Luke Nevins from F.P Nevins & Co, who had clearing sales scheduled in the Bendigo district for the next fortnight, said he had called off all clearings sales until it was safe to conduct them.

“The sales have been postponed, they will still role but it won’t be until the advice we receive from the Government says it is safe to do so,” Mr Nevins said.

Tristian Douglas from Ray White St Arnaud said a clearing sale at Cope Cope, which was due to take place at the end of next week, had been cancelled.

Vin Hanrahan from TB White & Sons said a clearing sale he was due to conducted at Lake Bolac next week would also not go ahead.

Ruralco Property will run a clearing sale, which was due to take place at Ducklo in Queensland next week, online.

Graham Eccles from Action Centre said an online auction meant there would be no issues with crowds.

“It will be live bidding,” he said.

It comes as Nutrien Ag Solutions announced on Monday that it had decided to cancel clearing sales in all states and territories.

“We will review this decision in two weeks’ time and consider any changing circumstances,” a statement said.

“We have made this decision to ensure we comply with the Government’s moves to ban non-

essential gatherings over 500 people.

“We know this will be disruptive to our customers, but we must make decisions that are in the best interests of the health of our employees, our customers and the general public.”

Rodwells & Co at Horsham postponed clearing sales scheduled for today and next week until further notice.
