Another couple already had their hearts set on Taylor Swift’s wedding reception site – until the popstar made a genius play. Find out the wedding date and see inside her swanky venue.
Taylor Swift cut a hefty check to snag a bride’s wedding date at a posh Rhode Island venue, Page Six is told.
Multiple sources tell us that the billionaire pop superstar wanted to marry her fiance, Travis Kelce, at Ocean House in Watch Hill on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
However, upon learning that another couple was already set to tie the knot there on that day, Swift dipped into her deep pockets and made an offer the bride couldn’t refuse.
Reps for Swift, Kelce and Ocean House did not respond to Page Six’s repeated requests for comment.
As Page Six previously reported, Ocean Hill has been on the singer-songwriter’s radar for some time.
After Swift and the NFL star — who got engaged in August — started going over their guest list, sources told us they realised they wanted to invite a lot more people than they initially thought.
The US Sun later reported that the ceremony would be held at Swift’s Watch Hill mansion. Our sources said that might not be a realistic venue, so the couple turned their sights to Ocean House.
Notably, the luxury hotel and event space is located a stone’s throw away from the Grammy winner’s estate.
As for why Swift, 35, was allegedly adamant about the June 13, 2026, date to marry Kelce, 36, it seems to be numerically significant.
Swifties already know that their Easter egg-loving idol’s favourite number is 13, but upon further dissection, we noticed that there could actually be more meaning behind the day, which has been highly speculated about online.
When written numerically, it comes out to 13/6/26. One plus three plus six plus two plus six equals 18, and one plus eight equals nine.
According to Numerology.com, the energy of the number nine represents completion in a cyclic sense; it’s about the ending of one cycle, which creates the potential for another cycle to begin.

Ocean House is an iconic New England seaside resort notable for achieving “triple Forbes Five-Star” status for its resort, its Ocean & Harvest Spa, and its COAST fine dining restaurant.
The five-star rating is based on exceptional service, luxurious facilities and if the venue meets high standards of detail, quality and professionalism.
The Victorian-style waterfront hotel, known for its sprawling architecture and its signature yellow siding, has 49 guest rooms and 23 Signature Suites. Prices per room vary, but a basic room starts at A$990 and can go for up to over A$1,500 a night. Amenities for guests include complimentary transportation in the resort’s private cars, as well as full-service fine and casual dining. Complimentary resort activities including yoga, cooking classes, virtual golf lessons, art tours and more.
The venue has five different restaurants, ranging from sophisticated fine-dining to casual beach fare.
Options include Ocean House, a classic American bistro; COAST, a fine-dining restaurant that uses fresh, seasonal ingredients; Verandah Raw Bar; a seafood restaurant; Théa at Dune Cottage, a beachside restaurant reserved for resort guests and members; and Dalia, which serves Spanish-style tapas, wine and cocktails.

SWIFT TOPS AUSSIE MUSIC CHART
Taylor Swift has become Spotify’s most-streamed artist in Australia for a third consecutive year.
The 35-year-old pop royalty topped the list with her hit single The Fate of Ophelia from her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. But, in an unexpected twist, the album didn’t make it into Spotify’s Top 10 albums globally.
The top gong globally went to Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny hanks to his sixth album, the Spanish-language DeBI TiRAR MaS FOToS (I Should Have Taken More Photos).
The soundtrack for the Netflix hit KPop Demon Hunters took second place in the world, with the single Golden taking seventh place on the Top 10 songs chart.
The Fate Of Ophelia also spent its eighth week at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
The Life of a Showgirl officially tied with her 2022 hit Anti-Hero as Swift’s longest-running number-one hit of her career.
The Billboard Hot 100 is the weekly chart based on US sales, streaming and radio airplay.
The Fate of Ophelia amassed 21.6 million official streams, 62.1 million radio airplay audience impressions and sold 25,000 in the US in the period of November 21 to 27, Billboard said.
TAYLOR PLANNING SERIES OF GLOBAL BACHELORETTE PARTIES
As her career goes from strength to strength, Swift’s love life appears to be sweeter than ever.
The star is expected to celebrate her forthcoming nuptials to Travis Kelce with several star-studded bachelorette parties around the globe.
The Grammy winner’s party of bridesmaids, believed to include Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid, have “at least three or four girls’ trips or bachelorette-style getaways” planned, an insider told The US Sun on Sunday.
A few of the planned locations could include Swift’s favourite spots, including Nashville, Tennessee, New York City, Italy and the Bahamas.
“The goal is to have fun, spend weekends together, and enjoy the process while also working on the planning in beautiful locations where they can relax, celebrate, and bond,” a source told the outlet.
The bachelorette getaways, reportedly set to be hosted by Swift, 35, will allegedly occur in the upcoming months.
Swift’s bridesmaids, along with Travis’ mother, Donna Kelce, are said to have been heavily involved in the wedding planning process.
The insider claimed that they’ve “been talking for the past two weeks, several times a week, whether on the phone, through texts, FaceTime, or Zoom.”
“Their commitment is incredibly solid, and the excitement is massive. It’s a truly fun experience for everyone already involved,” the source said.
After tying the knot to Benny Blanco in September, Gomez is also apparently excited to “bring ideas and suggestions” for Swift’s wedding “to make it the best experience possible for her best friend.”
“They’re all having such a great time; they love the process, and it feels like a dream experience for them – all so excited to support their very close friend, their ‘sister,’ Taylor,” the source said.
Representatives for Swift and Gomez weren’t immediately available for comment.
The Lover songstress and Travis got engaged in August after two years of dating.
The New York Post’s Page Six reported that the duo is considering hosting their nuptials at a venue in Tennessee and a private island after previously considering a smaller wedding.
The pop star and the Kansas City Chiefs star apparently realised they wanted to expand their guest list to include teammates, childhood friends and music industry mates.
Among the potential locations the couple can host their wedding is at the Ocean House Hotel in Rhode Island and BlackBerry Farm in Tennessee.
