The Mean Girls actor has welcomed her first child in Dubai, with the actor revealing her boy’s unique Arabic name.

Lindsay Lohan has welcomed her first child with Bader Shammas with the couple revealing their boy’s unique Arabic name.

While the exact date of his birth has not been shared, the couple have confirmed the baby was born in Dubai and he has been given the name “Luai”, an Arabic name that translates to “shield” or “protector”.

“Lindsay Lohan and her financier husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai,” a rep confirmed to People.

“The family is over the moon in love.”

Lindsay Lohan now lives in Dubai with her husband.

The 37-year-old actress is believed to have had her mum by her side to help during the second half of her pregnancy, as well as her siblings present at the time of the birth.

In March, the Mean Girls star confirmed her pregnancy after sharing an image on Instagram of a baby onesie with the words “Coming soon...”.

Fellow new mother Paris Hilton offered her well wishes at the time, commenting on the post: “Congratulations love! So happy for you. Welcome to the Mommy Club!”

Lohan and Shammas got engaged in 2021, before secretly tying the knot in April 2022.

After leaving Los Angeles behind, Lohan confessed: “Sometimes, I call it The Truman Show, because it‘s the same thing every day.

“But I love it. I really love structure, because I didn't think I had that when I was young. Everything was coming so fast and I had so many things happening. My only structure was filming and being on set.”
