Donald Trump claims ‘treasonous thugs’ took advantage of Joe Biden’s ‘decline’

Donald Trump has called out members of Joe Biden’s administration for “covering up” the former president’s alleged mental and physical decline while he was in the White House.

Trump's chilling warning to 'treasonous thugs' who controlled Biden

US President Donald Trump has claimed that “treasonous thugs” in former President Joe Biden’s administration allegedly took advantage of his predecessor’s alleged cognitive and physical decline in the White House.

Mr Trump alleged that Mr Biden never wanted open borders or for criminals to “flow into our country,” but the ideas were from his allies, who “wanted to destroy” the US.

“This is TREASON at the Highest Level!” Mr Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“It was the people that knew he was cognitively impaired, and that took over the Autopen,” Mr Trump wrote. “They stole the Presidency of the United States, and put us in Great Danger.”

Mr Biden’s recent diagnosis of an “aggressive form of prostate cancer” and the release of the instant bestseller Original Sin by CNN journalist Jake Tapper and Axios correspondent Alex Thompson, which described the “cover up” around Mr Biden’s health.

Mr Trump supported the former president’s record and said the old Mr Biden would not have allowed several of the border policies to pass.

“The Joe Biden that everybody knew would never allow drug dealers, gang members, and the mentally insane to come into our Country totally unchecked and unvetted. All anyone has to do is look up his record,” he said.

Mr Trump called for “severe” punishments for those in Biden’s administration who allegedly took advantage of the former president while he was in the Oval Office.

“Something very severe should happen to these Treasonous Thugs that wanted to destroy our Country, but couldn’t, because I came along. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Under Mr Biden’s administration, over eight million illegal immigrants slipped into the US, a majority crossing the southern border, including several future murderers.

Mr Trump made the assertion as Mr Biden’s allies have come under fire for allegedly covering up the 46th president’s mental and physical ailments while he was in the White House.

Experts and officials on both sides of the aisle are calling for an investigation into Mr Biden’s health history as they remain sceptical that the 82-year-old was never tested for prostate cancer until recently.

“I do believe that they felt like something was going on, and were worried about it and kind of hedged around it for a little bit,” one White House staffer who worked in proximity to Mr Biden told The New York Post.

“I just don’t know how they just, kind of find this out on a Friday, and it’s this far advanced and serious,” the Biden White House aide said. “[If it’s] in the bones, there’s gotta be a discomfort … I think they just didn’t test.”

Mr Trump accused Biden allies of not telling the truth in his reaction to the cancer diagnosis.

“I’m surprised the public wasn’t notified a long time ago,” Mr Trump told reporters in the Oval Office Monday.

“To get to stage 9, that’s a long time,” Mr Trump said of Mr Biden’s cancer scoring a 9 on the Gleason scale, which indicates a “high-grade” cancer that can spread quickly.

Vice President JD Vance called out the White House aides for hiding Mr Biden’s ability to serve as president.

“In some ways I blame him less than I blame the people around him,” Mr Vance told reporters on Air Force Two, noting that “of course we wish the best for the former president’s health.”
