Woman restrained, threatened with broken glass bottle in aggravated assault in Leanyer
Police are calling for information after a man allegedly grabbed and threatened a woman with a broken glass bottle.

June 1, 8:40am: Police are calling for information after a man allegedly grabbed and threatened a woman with a broken glass bottle in Leanyer on June 1.
About 8.40am, police received reports of the assault on Lee Point Rd, where the woman was allegedly restrained from behind while the suspect threatened her.
The woman screamed and the suspect fled the scene on foot before police arrival, with police alleging he ran across Lee Point Rd towards Canaris Street in Wanguri.
Investigations are ongoing.
