Weather plummets in NSW, drops below zero in ACT

WINTER is knocking on the door with NSW and ACT residents rugging up for the coldest morning this year.

WINTER is knocking on the door with NSW and ACT residents rugging up for the coldest morning this year.

Sydneysiders woke to chilly conditions, with temperatures out west dropping to 1.7C and the city down to 8C.

Canberra recorded a low of -4.7C, according to the weather bureau.
