Rain continues to fall across Victoria

GIPPSLAND recorded big rain totals yesterday, with the Latrobe Valley receiving 50mm in overnight storms.

IT WAS Gippsland’s turn to record some big rain totals overnight.

The Latrobe Valley received 50mm in overnight storms and a further 9mm has already fallen there today.

The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting even more rain for the east of the state over the next few days.

Erica received 28mm and Traralgon 33mm in the overnight rain with Murchison measuring 21mm and Dartmoor 6mm.

Yarram with 13mm and Warragul’s 11mm have continued Gippslands’ run of rain so far today.

Casterton recorded 9mm, Rhyll 10mm, Yarrawonga 4mm and Lake Eildon 18mm as the rain has continued, but again the showers and storms were localised.
