No snow at Mildura, just a surprise dust storm
A DUST storm battered Mildura as snow began to blanket other parts of Victoria.
A DUST storm battered Mildura as snow began to blanket other parts of Victoria.
“The crazy thing was we had some showers of rain during the day, it is pretty wet up here,” Mildura Rural City mayor and The Weekly Times contributor Glenn Milne said.
“All the paddocks are green and yet we still had a dust storm,” he said.
Cr Milne said the dust storm blew across the Sunraysia region last evening.
“It’s not something you see a lot in midwinter.
“We have been hearing about the snow and hail down south, it is pretty cold up here as well, and then we get a dust storm.”
