More rain on the way in north Queensland

NORTH Queensland is officially on La Nina watch after three consecutive years of failed wet seasons and crippling drought.

The Bureau of Meteorology’s latest El Nino-Southern Oscillation wrap-up has revealed a greater chance of a La Nina forming in the next few months.

The weather pattern is commonly associated with more rainfall.
