After 18 rounds of competition the NTFL finals are here and plenty of players have made a name for themselves. Now’s your chance to vote who you think was the best men’s and women’s player of the season.
After 18 rounds of competition, plenty of standout players have emerged in both the men’s and women’s NTFL leagues.
The Nichols votes have been counted, as well as the NT News medal, to be announced in the coming weeks but now it’s your turn to vote for who you think is the best.
We’ve pulled togther two polls of the most consistent players from every club from both the men’s and women’s premier leagues for you to determine the people’s choice winners and give two players ultimate bragging rights.
In the men’s competition, Jed Anderson of Southern Districts and last year’s winner Dylan Landt from St Mary’s have been seen as two of the medal favourites all year.
But are they who the public thinks have been the very best?
Darwin Buffaloes Jarrod Stokes has been outstanding in a losing side, while two-time Nichols winner Brodie Filo always has to be in the mix.
In the women’s contest, Nightcliff might be looking at some favouritism with Cassie McWilliam topping the goal kicking count and Gabrielle Deller named as one of the best players the most.
PINT skipper Reni Hicks is also in the running, as is Ella Ward from Palmerston after playing a large role in her side’s return to finals footy.
