Woman dies in southwest Victorian quad bike crash
Victoria Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal quad bike crash where a woman was killed.
A woman has been killed in a quad bike accident in southwest Victoria at the weekend.
Victoria Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash at Peterborough, located 10km west of Port Campbell.
Emergency services responded to reports of a quad bike rolling on Jarvis Rd about 5.10am.
The female rider, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
As part of their investigations, police are calling for witnesses to come forward with information.

So far this year 148 lives have been lost on Victorian roads, compared to 136 lost this time last year.
Last year statistics by FarmSafe Australia showed 64 people – including children – had died during 2024 in on-farm incidents, up from 33 in 2023, with both quad bikes and side-by-side vehicles over-represented in the figures.
