An 18-year-old man has been hit by a car while allegedly running from a home invasion in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, police say.
Emergency services were called to Mainwaring Crescent at Davoren Park after reports of a robbery and a pedestrian being hit by a car just after midday on Monday.
Police will allege two men entered a home on Mainwaring Cres, and threatened occupants before fleeing the scene on foot.
The 18-year-old man, from Marleston, was struck by a silver sedan as he tried to flee the scene, police alleged, with paramedics called.
He was rushed to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, where he was arrested by police and will face charges, they say.
The driver of the silver sedan – a 29-year-old man from Davoren Park – was also arrested and charged with acts to endanger life.
The second break-in suspect, a 20-year-old-man from Andrews Farm, left the area and was not injured.
He was located nearby the alleged crime scene, arrested and charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, aggravated assault and theft.
Both the older men were refused bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
