Southern Expressway re-opened after being closed in both directions
The major thoroughfare was partly closed in both directions for several hours as police responded to an incident.
The Southern Expressway has re-opened, after being closed in both directions earlier on Tuesday morning as police responded to an unknown incident.
The road was blocked off from 5.40am, between the Sherrifs Rd ramp citybound and the Panalatinga Ramp southbound.
However, traffic restrictions were lifted as of 7.30am, according to SA Police’s X account.
Police thanked motorists for their patience.
