South Eastern Freeway reopens after truck hits horse near Murray Bridge
A truck driver has walked away uninjured after his vehicle hit a horse early this morning.
Police have re-opened one lane of the South Eastern Freeway after a crash this morning.
Emergency services were called to White Hill, near the off ramp to Murray Bridge, after a truck hit a horse in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Eastbound traffic was down to one lane, with motorists asked to avoid the area.
But the scene has now been cleared.
The truck driver was not injured in the crash.
It comes as traffic builds up on the North South Motorway at West Hindmarsh after reports of a three-car crash about 6.30am.
It is believed the crash is affecting southbound traffic.
Multiple crashes across the city on Tuesday also brought traffic to a crawl, as wet weather and fog affected driving conditions.
