Police have arrested a man on Hindley St and entered a massage parlour

Police have stormed a massage parlour and been seen taking a man away in handcuffs on a notorious CBD party street.

Police were at the scene of an incident on Hindley St on Saturday night were a man was taken away in handcuffs.

Six police cars parked in the street and a group of police officers were seen entering a massage parlour near the Jetts Adelaide City gym.

Police wearing visors and holding perspex shields came out of the premises with a middle-aged man who was handcuffed behind his back and struggling.

A sheet had been used to shield the entry so that onlookers could not see in.

He was put in the back of a van. Police went back into the massage parlour,

The street was closed to all road users and police asked the public to avoid the area for about an hour.

By 7pm Hindley St was re-opened to traffic.

In a Facebook post police thank the public for their patience.
