Kellie Finlayson’s younger brother Jake Gardner allegedly assaulted at Pier Hotel at Port Lincoln on Saturday
The relative of a well-known Adelaide WAG and influencer has been revealed as the victim of an alleged one-punch assault over the weekend.
The victim of a brutal alleged attack outside a pub in Port Lincoln has been identified as cancer advocate Kellie Finlayson’s younger brother, Jake Gardner.
The 26-year-old was knocked unconscious and sustained severe facial injuries after the alleged assault outside the Pier Hotel on Tasman Tce, around 8.45pm on Saturday.
He was rushed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and later travelled to Adelaide to receive head scans.
Two men, both aged 24, have been charged over the incident.
Video footage later emerged of the alleged assault, which shows Mr Gardner lying on the footpath outside the hotel.
Police allege that phone footage from a witness shows a man elbowing the victim to the head.

The two men were charged with assault and were refused police bail before they appeared in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court on Monday.
During the court hearing, the French nationals were granted bail and were ordered to hand over their passports.
In October last year, Mr Gardner’s sister, Kellie – who’s married to AFL star Jeremy Finlayson – opened up about her bowel cancer battle.
