A 38-year-old man has been killed in a workplace accident at the old Holden factory in Adelaide’s north on Friday.
A man is dead after a workplace incident in Adelaide’s northern suburbs on Friday.
Masses of emergency services personnel were seen racing to the old Holden factory on the Philip Highway at Elizabeth South after reports a man had become trapped in machinery just before 10.30am.
Police said the 38-year-old man, from Para Hills West, died at the scene.

Outside the business premises after the incident, police were examining a grey Toyota LandCruiser.
Approximately 30 to 50 workers exited the warehouse and after being spoken to in the parking lot, it appears they were sent home.
The Advertiser sighted one man crouching on the floor with his head in his hands and visibly upset.
A SafeWork SA spokesperson said inspectors were attending the incident at an engineering business and inquiries were continuing.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances and a report would be prepared for the coroner.
