Cyclist fined for risky riding on North-South Motorway

Police pulled over a cyclist, who was captured riding dangerously in the middle of a busy motorway. Watch the wild footage.

A cyclist has been fined after riding his bicycle on the North-South Motorway, with dashcam video showing him weaving in and out of traffic.

The footage was taken on Friday just before 1.30pm near Bolivar, in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, showing the cyclist riding in the middle of the road.

At one point, he can be seen tailgating a white four-wheel drive, while at another stage he changes lanes without indicating.

SA Police were called and a 57-year-old St Kilda man was fined for riding contrary to road signs, moving into the path of a driver, and riding without a warning device.
