TUESDAY, APRIL 8
Gather Round in the Barossa
Barossa Valley Estate Winery & Cellar Door, 4pm
Following on from last year’s successful Gather Round Spectacular, the Channel 9 team will celebrate this year’s Festival of Footy with a two-hour event among the vines.
Host Eddie McGuire will be joined by former Crow Rory Sloane, James Hird and a star-studded line-up of AFL icons, plus there will also be a special musical performance by Crows superstar Izak Rankine.

Adelaide Oval, 6pm
One of Fox Footy’s flagship shows, this year co-hosted by Gerard Whateley and Garry Lyon, will be broadcasting in front of a live audience at SA’s home of football on Tuesday and Wednesday night.
There will be a range of special guests, still to be confirmed, appearing throughout the week.

Captain’s Run Dinner
The Moseley, Glenelg, 7pm
It’s set to be a memorable night for Power fans as Travis Boak, Tom Jonas, Connor Rozee and Power coach-in-waiting Josh Carr appear at this unique Gather Round event.
Hosted by Jarrod Walsh, your $150 ticket includes a three-course dinner and a three-hour drinks package featuring Hey Diddle Wines and Pirate Life beer.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9
The Front Bar

Cult TV footy show The Front Bar is bringing back the laughs for the third edition of AFL’s Gather Round.
Panellists Mick Molloy, Andy Maher and Sam Pang will again broadcast from Adelaide Oval, as part of Seven’s coverage of the Festival of Footy.

Dyl & Friends Live at Gather Round
Space Theatre, 7.30pm
Everyone’s favourite AFL player-turned-podcaster is coming back for another live episode of his hit footy podcast.
Buckley will chat with Crows superstar Izak Rankine, while Perth-based comedy trio Kick It Forward, and Footy & Friends, featuring Brett Deledio and Michael Barlow, will also be in stage helping to preview the footy feast.
Buckley played 41 games for Carlton and GWS and after hanging up the boots, he founded Clubby Sports, home to some of the country’s top sports podcasts.

SEN’s odd couple will gather for a huge live show at the revamped Aussie Inn, highlighted by a special appearance from Crows favourite Tony Modra.
He’ll be signing autographs and pouring free West End beers – note there’s a limit of one per customer.

THURSDAY, APRIL 10
SEN radio footy shows
Station Road, SkyCity, starting at 6am
See the radio station’s biggest names in action as they broadcast their shows live across the weekend from Station Road, SkyCity Adelaide.
It all kicks off on Thursday with SEN’s local breakfast show, featuring Crows dual premiership captain Mark Bickley and Jarrod Walsh, followed by Whateley (Gerard Whateley), Dwayne’s World with Dwayne Russell, The Run Home with Kymbo & The Rooch and finally, Sportsday SA with Malcolm Blight & David Wildy.
As part of a SkyCity activation, there will also be mini golf holes, an AFL skills test, and a Dunk Tank set up, with one of Bicks or Walshy set to be dunked for charity on Thursday.
SkyCity Adelaide will add $100 to the pot for every successful dunk, donating up to
$10,000 to Gather Round charity partner, the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation.
AFL Legends Luncheon

Hosted by Billy Brownless, this footy extravaganza will feature greats such as Wayne Carey, Mark Ricciuto, Kevin Sheedy, Peter Daicos and Greg Williams.

Gather Round Breakfast with Sandy Roberts

Beloved SA-born sports commentator Sandy Roberts was diagnosed with myeloma, a type of blood cancer, in 2022. Now in remission, he’s doing everything he can to raise funds and awareness for the disease.
Together with Myeloma Australia, Roberts will be the highlight of this new addition to the Gather Round festivities, along with a host of great Australians and inspirational community members sharing their stories throughout the morning.

Ever wanted to dunk Kane Cornes into a tank of water? One lucky person will get the opportunity – to raise funds for SkyCity Adelaide Gather Round charity partner, the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation – during the station’s live broadcast of their popular breakfast show, Fireball Friday, co-hosted with David King.

The Sunday Footy Show
Adelaide Riverbank, 10am
The full panel will be there from 10am, broadcasting live from the banks of the River Torrens.
Current AFL players and South Australian football legends will join the team including Tony Jones, Rory Sloane, Matthew Lloyd and Nathan Brown as they wrap up Gather Round from their purpose-built stage on the Riverbank Lawns at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
Nathan Buckley
Norwood Hotel, 1pm
Now a respected member of the AFL media, Buckley has enjoyed a three-decade journey in football, starting with Port Adelaide in the SANFL in 1990. This was followed by a season in Brisbane before his storeyed career at Collingwood as both a player and coach.
Now he’s heading to The Parade, where he will speak about his highlights and lowlights in the sport, from his teammates, to coaches, opponents, controversies, Grand Finals, and his transition to coaching and the media.
