Adelaide’s Miss Universe Australia finalist Mia Dalkos is looking for love on the new season of Love Island Australia

After getting out of a six-year relationship, an SA-born Miss Universe finalist is hoping to find true love on the latest season of a hit reality show.

A Miss Universe Australia finalist hailing from South Australia is the latest bombshell to enter the Love Island villa.

Adelaide-born beauty Mia Dalkos is looking for love in Spain, joining fellow singles including Lockleys footy player Kane Godlevksy on the latest season of the hit series.

Making her official debut on Thursday, the newly single model and business owner was ready to find her “Greek god.”

“I come from a Greek background, so very loud, dramatic, we’re fighting to get a word in,” the 23-year-old said in her introduction video.

“I’ll definitely go after what I want in the villa, I’m not afraid to step on any toes.

“I’m a Greek goddess just looking for my Greek god.”

Fresh out of a six-year relationship, she’s looking for a true love that lasts.

“I usually go for someone who is driven and charismatic,” she said.

“I’m looking for old school love, someone I can take home to the family.”

Last year she represented South Australia as a Miss Universe Australia finalist and was one of 23 women in the running to be crowned.

Outside of modelling, she runs her own dress hire business, Mia’s Hire Boutique, on the side, renting out designer gowns to women across Australia.

She previously worked as a Student Support Officer helping students with learning disabilities.
