Three children apprehended over allegedly stolen Prado from Alice Springs support home
Northern Territory Police have arrested three children, aged 11, 12 and 13 in relation to a motor vehicle that was allegedly stolen last Thursday evening in Alice Springs.

April 14, 12 pm: Northern Territory Police have arrested three children, aged 11, 12 and 13 in relation to a motor vehicle that was allegedly stolen last Thursday evening in Alice Springs.
Police said at 1:30pm on Friday 11 April, they received reports that a Toyota Prado was driving erratically in the vicinity of Ilparpa Road.
A co-ordinated response involving members from Strike Force Viper, the Dog Operations Unit (DOU), the Territory Safety Division (TSD), and general duties members resulted in the successful deployment of tyre deflation devices on the vehicle.
The alleged offenders abandoned the vehicle in scrubland and fled on foot. Patrol Dog Huey successfully tracked and located the three youths.
They were taken into custody without incident.
The 13-year-old male has since been charged with theft, damage oroperty, breach bail and traffic related offences.
The 11 and 12-year-old females were dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
Teen girl in serious condition after being hit by car in Alice Springs
April 10, 3.05pm: A teenage girl who was hit by a car in Alice Springs has been taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
About 3.05pm on Thursday, police received reports of an unknown teenage girl who had been hit by a car near a skate park in The Gap.
NT Police understand the alleged driver stopped to help the girl after the incident.
Police say the driver later tested negative to roadside drug and alcohol tests and is assisting with inquiries.
St John Ambulance responded to the incident and took the teenage girl to the Alice Springs Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Investigations remain ongoing at time of publication.
Police are asking for any witnesses of the pedestrian strike, particularly those with dashcam footage from the area at that time, to call 131 444 and quote reference number P25098053.
Daylight robbery: E-scooters, e-bike stolen from Alice Springs home
April 9, 3.30pm: A number of alleged offenders who took off from an Alice Springs home with two stolen e-scooters and an e-bike have NT Police asking those with information to come forward.
NT Police say between 7.30am and 3.30pm on Wednesday, an unknown group allegedly broke into an unoccupied home on Kurrajong Dr, Sadadeen.
It was alleged the group entered the home by forcing open the security door and smashing open the glass door with a rock.
The group allegedly stole two Razor e-scooters and a Scott e-bike from the home.
Police say there were no witnesses involved.

Men, boy remove air conditioner to break into Red Centre RSL
April 8, 9.24pm: Two men and a young boy who allegedly broke into a Red Centre RSL and stole a large amount of alcohol are set to appear in court.
About 9.24pm on Tuesday, NT Police received reports the Tennant Creek RSL had been broken into by a group of three males.
It is alleged CCTV footage captured one of the men using a crowbar to remove an airconditioning unit from the club, leaving a large opening in the wall.
The trio – a 21-year-old man, a 20-year-old man and an 11-year-old boy – then allegedly entered the bar and stole a “large quantity of alcohol”, according to police.
Southern Watch Commander Marc Watson said one of the alleged offenders was arrested at 10.30pm, while the other two were arrested later at midnight.
The two men were charged with aggravated burglary, damage to property, theft and recruitment of a child, while the young boy was diverted to a diversion program.
The two men are set to appear at court on Wednesday.
Stolen car pursuit
April 8, 3.10am: NT Police allege about 3.10am on Tuesday, a maroon Toyota HiLux was allegedly stolen from a home on Burke St.
Police say they followed the car for a short time before ending the pursuit because of “dangerous” driving by the stolen car.
The car was found abandoned in Sadadeen and seized by police for forensic testing.
At the time of publication, the alleged offenders remain at large.
The pursuit comes hours after an unknown number of youths allegedly broke into a home on McMinn St about 11.30pm Monday.
It was alleged a group of youths stole a white Holden Captiva from the home.
Police later located the car abandoned in Araluen.
The car has been seized for forensic testing, police say.
Police allege the offenders are still at large.
Boys allegedly ransack Alice Springs offices
April 7, 7am: A group of boys allegedly ransacked an office in Alice Springs, causing extensive damage and forcing police to chase the alleged offenders down on foot across the CBD.
An employee arrived at the Todd St building at 9.45am on Sunday, when they allegedly spotted the boys aged 10, 12, 13, 13, 13 and 14 inside.
The employee called the police, and the six boys allegedly fled out the rear of the property, which houses multiple businesses and organisations.
When police arrived it was confirmed all offices and rooms within the building had been ransacked and extensive damage had allegedly been caused.
A co-ordinated police response involving CCTV operators and Strike Force Viper identified the alleged offenders.
Multiple foot chases throughout the Alice Springs CBD and into the Todd River involving Territory Safety Division members, general duties officers, and Strike Force Viper members ended in the arrest of six male youths.
Four of the boys, one of whom was already on bail, were charged with aggravated burglary and damage to property, and are due to face Alice Springs Local Court this morning.
One of the boys was granted bail to appear in court on Thursday, and has been fitted with an ankle monitor.
The 10-year-old was released from custody and has been referred to a diversion program.
