Two trucks crash on Kilcoy Beerwah Road
One driver has been flown to Brisbane with life-threatening injuries and another sent to a Sunshine Coast hospital after a serious crash at a roadworks site.
A man is fighting for life after a two-truck crash west of the Sunshine Coast overnight.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on Kilcoy Beerwah Road at Cedarton at 10.25pm Friday.
It’s understood the crash had happened between two trucks involved in night roadworks and the road was closed for several hours.
According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, one man with a head injury was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a life-threatening condition, and another man was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
