There are grave fears for the life of a person following a reported incident at Castle Hill in Townsville.
Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed shortly after 9am that paramedics had reached the victim after a reported fall from a track about 7.41am.
The victim had suffered “life-threatening injuries”.
A QAS spokesperson subsequently referred all additional media queries to Queensland Police Service.
A QPS spokeswoman said at 11am that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident and could not comment further.
