After five months and numerous rounds of hotly-contested fixtures, teams will descend on Sunshine Beach for one last battle to earn season silverware today.

Four rugby union grand finals will hit the fields of the Noosa Dolphins home with the Women’s 12s, Colts, Reserve Grade and A-grade sides lacing up.

All games will be live streamed on the Sunshine Coast Daily’s website in collaboration with USQ’s TV and Radio Broadcast team.

Streams of the games will go live at time of kick-off for each game, with viewers needing to be a Sunshine Coast Daily subscriber to watch.

If you miss the matches or want to catch the best bits, the Daily will also show replays and highlights packages.

Action starts from 10.30am with the Women’s 12s, the Colts are at 12noon, Reserve Grade at 2pm and A-grade at 4pm.

Noosa Dolphins will have a strong presence in the region’s championship battles, with the club featuring in three of the four deciders.

Women’s 12s

The women will be the first to take advantage of their home grounds as they host Caboolture.

The Snakes were undefeated through the regular season but were forced to take the long road into the grand final after Dolphins toppled them in the major semi-final.

The two sides have had some tough tussles through the season and will look to finish the year strong, kicking off at 10.30am.

Reserve Grade

The Dolphins will also hit the field in the Reserve Grade grand final, taking on Wynnum for bragging rights from 2pm.

A-Grade

The A-grade heavyweights will hit the field for their clash at 4pm.

Minor premiers Barbarians will head into the match not only looking to cap a dominant year on a high but with fallen teammate Jacob Mabb in their thoughts.

The 21-year-old died in December last year after sustaining critical injuries in a motorcycle crash during a trip to Bali.

Meanwhile, Lighthouses head into the match determined to defend their maiden championship after enduring a year with a target on their back.

Both enter the clash in form and fired up, with the match set to be a close and energetic battle.
