$3500 raised in search for ‘high-risk’ missing woman

A crowd funded campaign to aid in the search for missing Caboolture woman Amy Schulkins has generated more than $3500.

A crowd funded campaign to aid in the search for missing Caboolture woman Amy Schulkins has generated more than $3500.

Ms Schulkins, 36, was last seen at a John St address about 11pm on Wednesday, December 30.

Her disappearance has sparked a huge search from members of the public and police state-wide.

However, Caboolture Police have conceded Ms Schulkins appeared to have “vanished off the face of the earth”.

Police have described Ms Schulkins as a “high-risk” person.

More than 7000 people have joined a Facebook group called The Search Team for Amy Schulkins, who are the creators of the campaign.

They describe Ms Schulkins as a “loving and devoted” wife and a woman with the “most infectious spirit and laugh”.

“Although the financial strain of searching for someone could never compare to the emotional one, it is a significant additional stress at a time when a family should be able to focus only on their missing loved one,” the campaign reads.

“It is important to note that their only family vehicle is now also missing with Amy ans (sic) Bec (Amy’s partner Rebecca) will now be relying on a single income to support herself and their young children.

“Bec, would never ask for help - and we mean - never, which is why we’re doing it for her. That’s just what friends and family do.

“We need all the support we can find from generous and kind hearted people just like the 6000 new friends on our search team.

“We won’t stop until we find Amy, and we believe someone out there has seen or knows something that will help us find her.”

Amy is likely to be travelling in a white 2001 Nissan Patrol, Queensland registration 257VTN.

Anyone who has seen Amy or has further information about her whereabouts is urged to contact police.
