Listing agent Shane Mullins of Off Market Hotels said the park offered a rare opportunity for investors or an onsite owner/operator.

“It has got scope for (onsite) growth and everyone says the region is experiencing high rates of visitation,” he said.

“This is the place where people can be in the Far North, in the rough and be a million miles from home with the all the modern facilities of Cooktown.”

Adjoining the park at the front of the property, is a 4,047 sqm vacant block included in the sale which could be used to add more cabins and powered caravan sites, Mr Mullins said.

“This rare opportunity allows for an astute buyer to increase the footprint of the park, to include capital improvements and potentially own and operate one of North Queensland’s largest tourist parks,” he said.
