Princess Catherine will be Australia-bound again soon if she gets her way after telling an Australian soldier posted to London she’d love to come and visit.
Kate was attending the Irish Guards St Patrick’s Day at Wellington Barracks in London when she bumped into Aussie reservist Corporal Adam Hamilton.
According to the UK Telegraph, Princess Catherine told him she dreamt of bringing the whole family to visit Australia.
“It’s finding time to do that,” she said.
“But I love to travel – yes, it’s a long flight … There are so many opportunities now to travel, I think it’s brilliant to experience it.
“We tend to go further afield when it’s official visits – it’s being able to carve out time to experience these countries in a more private capacity.
“Because otherwise you end up seeing lots of insides of amazing buildings but you don’t get to meet that many people.
“It’s making sure that you can combine a bit of work with the children. I might see you down there!”
Princess Catherine appeared to be right at home, sipping on a Guinness after the parade before announcing to the delighted soldiers that all further rounds would be on her.
“It’s the least I can do,” Princess Catherine said as a senior guardsman raised a glass in her honour.
“Three cheers for the colonel in the regiment,’’ he said, referring to Kate’s honorary rank.
The Princess’ return to the lively parade at Wellington Barracks in London was particularly significant given she was forced to miss it last year due to her cancer battle.
Kate wore a bottle green Alexander McQueen coat dress for the occasion which she accessorised with a gold Shamrock brooch which has previously been worn by Princess Anne and the Queen Mother.
A number of guardsmen presented Kate with traditional fresh sprigs of shamrock which she duly pinned to the brooch.
She also took the time to pause and give regiment mascot Turlough Mór, an Irish Wolfhound. a pat.
KATE CELEBRATES WITH RUGBY TEAM
Catherine, Princess of Wales was seen celebrating with a beer-swigging England side in changing rooms after they trounced Wales in a Six Nations clash.
The Sun reports the highly-anticipated match kicked off at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales with team England securing a huge 68-14 win.
Following the match, both William and Kate headed to the Wales and England changing rooms to celebrate or comfort the players.
Catherine has been captured smiling and shaking the hands of the winning England side, some of whom cracked open celebratory beers.
Meanwhile, William was commiserating with the devastated Welsh team following the huge loss.
During the game, the Royal couple were seen bantering with fans and smiling at each other in the stands as they supported opposite sides during the England-Wales Six Nations rugby clash.
England was “ready to embrace the hostility of Cardiff” according to lock Ollie Chessum – in one of the last games of the season.
Kate, 43, and William, 40 are patrons of the Rugby Football League (RFL) and Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) respectively.
Despite the good-natured rivalry, they united before the game to greet injured players at the stadium supported by the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust.
In a story posted to their shared Instagram account, the pair wrote: “A pleasure to meet with players supported by the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust ahead of today’s match in Cardiff.”
The same message was also written in Welsh, along with snaps from the event.
The famously competitive couple have previously joked about their opposing loyalties when it comes to the Six Nations.
Kate’s appearance at the rugby comes as part of a gradual return to public duties after revealing she is in remission from cancer.
She also has an engagement with the Irish Guards on St Patrick’s Day in London on Monday.
PRINCE WILLIAM WANTS ‘EMBARRASSING ANDREW’ TO VANISH
Meanwhile, Prince William is fed up with his scandal-scarred uncle, Prince Andrew, and wants him to “vanish from public view” after new allegations about him emerged in a new memoir.
This week, the disgraced Duke of York, 65, was accused of behaving “inappropriately” toward a female masseuse back in 2000 when she was summoned to Buckingham Palace by Ghislaine Maxwell.
As Andrew’s name continues to make headlines, the Prince of Wales is getting increasingly fed up with the negative attention the royal family is getting as a result.
“This is yet another national and royal embarrassment for all,” royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News. “Prince William so wants his uncle Andrew to vanish from public view.”
“When it comes to his wayward brother Andrew, King Charles III is also beyond exasperated and has disassociated himself publicly to make certain Andrew doesn’t appear with any senior members of the royal family.”
Elsewhere, royal commentator Ian Pelham Turner told the outlet that William, 42, is unlikely to ever have his uncle feel welcomed back into the royal fold.
“More allegations of potential impropriety will cause King Charles and Prince William [to take] further action,” Pelham Turner said of the future king.
“William has gained a reputation for being hot-headed, and even Charles could see this as the last straw with his brother.”
Earlier this week, former masseuse Monique Giannelloni, 60, claimed that the former working royal displayed an “abuse of his privilege” when she arrived at the palace 25 years ago, the Daily Mail reports.
Prior to the meeting, Ms Giannelloni says, Maxwell — a longtime friend of Jeffrey Epstein’s — said she had a high-profile contact for her who was “more famous than God.”
Once there, Ms Giannelloni realised that Maxwell was referring to Prince Andrew.
In the book, the masseuse claims Prince Andrew disrobed and removed his towel before climbing onto the massage table.
“He did not do anything or suggest anything untoward, but I was very uncomfortable and a bit shocked that he had acted like that,” she writes.
She added that she “expected more” from a member of the royal family, and his behaviour did not leave her “impressed.”
Ms Giannelloni was reportedly a sought-after masseuse in the UK, and boasted a high-profile client list, including Friends star David Schwimmer and dancer Michael Flatley.
Additionally, Ms Giannelloni alleged that Maxwell had tried to recruit her for what she now believes were Epstein’s infamous boat parties.
“Andrew’s reputation has been sullied by his friendships with those two people,” she said, referring to Epstein and Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking.
“It was Andrew’s choice to be friends with those individuals Ghislaine and Epstein and somehow, I ended up in their world because of my work,” she went on.
“I have a lot of questions and a significant one is: was Ghislaine trying to involve me and Andrew in her sordid lifestyle?”
Maxwell, 63, was convicted in 2021 of recruiting and grooming young women to be sexually assaulted by Epstein, who in 2019 died by suicide in a lower Manhattan jail cell while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges.
