A slice of the well known Western District property Devon Park, at Dunkeld, has been listed for sale. The portion of the farm will go under the hammer for the first time in 90 years in June.
A PORTION of the iconic Western District property Devon Park will go under the hammer for the first time in more than 90 years.
A 1237ha portion of the property, located at Dunkeld, is being offered for sale also through CBRE.
A price is yet to be disclosed.
CBRE says the Devon Park land is currently being used for livestock grazing but portions are suitable for cropping.
It has a carrying capacity of 17,750 dry sheep equivalents, an average rainfall of 693mm, quality fencing, a well-designed laneway system and excellent livestock water infrastructure.
Structural improvements include a managers’ residence and ancillary shedding.
For sale by online auction on Thursday June 4.
