NT missing person: 10-year-old Cedric found
A 10-year-old boy missing in Katherine has been located safe and well, according to police.
Latest - 10:50am: The search for 10-year-old Cedric has ended, after the boy was located safe and well at 10:50am on Tuesday.
In a statement, NT Police thanked the public for their assistance in locating the child.
Initial - 8:25am: NT Police are searching for a 10-year-old boy missing from Katherine.
In a statement, NT Police said the boy, named Cedric, was last seen on the afternoon of June 2, 2025 at Katherine South.
Police hold concerns for his welfare.
Cedric is known to frequent the Katherine town centre and surrounding area, police say.
According to police, he was last seen wearing a blue jersey with white stripes at the side, maroon-coloured T-shirt with Essendon black shorts, with red and grey stripes down the sides.
Police urge anyone who may know of Cedric’s whereabouts or who may have seen him to contact NT Police on 131 444 and quote reference number P25149229.
