Virgin Australia launches mega flights sale with destinations including Bali, Japan and New Zealand

Virgin Australia has dropped prices on half a million domestic and international flights with airfares starting from just $45. See the full list of sales.

Virgin Australia has announced a sale across half a million flights with domestic airfares starting from just $45 and international prices as low as $425.

Sydneysiders can head to Byron Bay for just $45 one-way and Hamilton Island for $125, while those in Melbourne can go to the Gold Coast for $109.

Those travelling from Canberra to the Gold Coast or Melbourne, prices are from $99 and $109 (one way) respectively.

Some of the best international deals include return flights from the Gold Coast to Bali for just $499, Brisbane to Fiji and back for $509, and Sydney to Queenstown return from just $445.

Flights to Bali have been reduced.

Flights to Bali have also been reduced to $449 from both Adelaide and the Gold Coast.

Meanwhile, flights to Fiji and Vanuatu from Brisbane will cost from $509 and $569 respectively, while flights to Cairns to Haneda (Tokyo) are now from $699.

Those wishing to book flights must be travelling between January 16 to August 29 next year, with some of the most popular hot spots all included.

The seven-day Flight Frenzy sale is on now and will end at midnight next Monday, October 23.

Flights to Hamilton Island are on sale.

“Australians are looking to drive their dollar further in the current environment and this sale is giving them hundreds of thousands of great-value opportunities to travel to their favourite holiday spots next year,” Virgin Australia Chief Commercial Officer, Dave Emerson said.

“With every single Virgin Australia route now on sale, popular destinations can be booked for less than the cost of a taxi ride, so we are encouraging travellers to get in fast as these incredible fares will not last long.”

Virgin Australia sale fares include Velocity Frequent Flyer Points and Status Credits.
