A low-cost airline is offering Aussie travellers $0 fares to some of the world’s most coveted holiday spots. Here’s where you could fly.
If you fancy an overseas holiday that won’t break the bank, get ready.
Vietnam’s low-cost airline Vietjet has announced a 24-hour flash sale that will offer Aussie travellers $0 fares to some of Asia’s hottest destinations.
While fares are being offered up for $0, passengerswill have to foot the bill for taxes and surcharges.
But with taxes on a Vietjet economy flight from Melbourne to Hanoi averaging around $180, travellers are set to score some serious bargains.
Vietjet, which operates out of Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, flies to a number of destinations throughout Vietnam including Hanoi, Da Nang and Nha Trang.
The airline also operates flights from Australia to holiday hot spots such as Bali, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan and Singapore.
Taxes on a one-way flight from Sydney to Tokyo will cost a traveller around $420, while taxes on a flight from Brisbane to Phuket cost around $200.
The sale will kick off from midnight on September 9 and applies to travel dates between September 18 and March 31, 2024.
