Man cardigans on the rise: Winter’s reliable layer sold for thousands

It’s the winter fashion trend of the moment but it comes with an up to $5000 price tag.

In fact, the cardigan has become such a staple in winter wardrobes, it’s graduated from not just a layer — it’s now even a top on its own for some young people who have taken inspiration from previous generations and tailored it to their style.

But as it is with any reliable piece of reliable apparel, the cost of a cardigan can stretch far and wide.
