Nutrien Ag Solutions Australia has a new boss, with now former managing director Kelly Freeman heading back across the Pacific.

Nutrien Ag Solutions Australia has a new boss, with now former managing director Kelly Freeman heading back across the Pacific to take up a role as Executive Advisor to Nutrien’s operations in Latin America.

Adrian Capogreco has been appointed the new MD for Australia, effective immediately.

Kelly Freeman has been appointed as Executive Advisor to Nutrien’s operations in Latin America.

Adrian Capogreco has been appointed as the new Managing Director for Nutrien Ag Solutions Australia.

Mr Freeman joined Nutrien in 2022 from Nutrien’s Canadian retail operations and said his time in Australia had been an “outstanding professional and personal experience”.

“I am confident that the Australian business will continue to thrive under Adrian Capogreco’s

leadership and our exceptional team across the country.”

Mr Capogreco joined Nutrien in 2021, and had most recently served as Senior Director of Finance for the Australian business.

“I am honoured to take on the role of Managing Director and continue the work of supporting Australian agriculture,” he said.

“Nutrien is deeply committed to the success of our suppliers, growers, and partners, and I look forward to building on the strong foundations established under Kelly’s leadership.”

This is the latest career move with Nutrien, after legendary Geelong footballer Tom Hawkins was last year announced to be joining Nutrien’s livestock team.
