‘Brave and hot’: Kanye fires back at Bianca critics

Kanye West has defended Bianca Censori after her naked display at the Grammys, describing his “admiration” for his Australian wife as the model’s mum broke her silence on the incident.

Why red carpet stunt may have cost Kanye West $US20m

Kanye West had some choice words for critics following his and wife Bianca Censori’s shocking nude stunt on the red carpet at the Grammys.

On Thursday local time, the West took to social media to defend the 30-year-old Australian who exposed herself in front of a sea of cameras on music’s biggest night.

“My wife’s first red carpet opened a whole new world,” West wrote on X alongside a photo of the duo’s now-viral moment.

“I keep staring at this photo like I was staring in admiration that night Thinking wow I am so lucky to have a wife that is so smart talented brave and hot … She took a break from shooting her first film to make a movie in real life.”

“We tailored that invisible dress 6 times [and] just like magic, poof, we disappeared,” the 47-year-old wrote.

“Thank you to all the outlets who recognised us and gave us back the energy we put in. But I have to give a shout out to the American Vogue team for writing an article that places my wife in a strong positive light and also recognises rightful strength,” he said.

“People asked how would your mother feel. You don’t know my mama b***h.”

The rapper, who shares four children with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, wrote in a follow-up post, “Posting just to flex at this point.”

He then posted a pic of a totally naked Censori on the red carpet alongside a love heart emoji.

West arrived at the Grammys with Censori and the pair headed directly for the red carpet.

The former Yeezy architect took off her coat to reveal a sheer, barely there mini dress without a bra or underwear.

West, for his part, was dressed in all-black attire, including a plain T-shirt, a pair of black pants and a pair of dark sunglasses.

CENSORI REVEALS HOW SHE FELT

There was a report that Censori was “talked into” wearing the sheer dress. But she was seen giggling when her husband was asked about how they “beat the Grammys”.

Footage shows the couple arriving at a Los Angeles recording studio on Tuesday and Kanye telling photographers: “Ask me how it was to beat the Grammys?”

Censori then laughs and covers her mouth to hide her giggles as the photographers describe her fit as “fire”.

Earlier this week, West posted Google search results showing that his wife’s name was the most-searched term on the night of the awards show.

“The most googled person on earth,” West wrote alongside a video of his wife on Instagram.

He then boasted that the duo “beat the Grammys” with their shocking stunt after it was reported that Censori would not face repercussions for the incident.

A professional lip reader claimed West encouraged his wife to reveal her racy outfit in front of the cameras. West allegedly told Censori to “make a scene.”

Meanwhile, a body language expert said Censori — who has been married to West since 2022 — showed “fear” on the red carpet, and that her move to expose her outfit was the “ultimate attention-seeking statement.”

However, West may lose out on his A$32 million international concert deal in Tokyo. A Hollywood PR expert has since revealed the reason behind the stunt, exclusively telling The New York Post that West went through with it “in order to get dollars in the till.”

Earlier, Raj Kapoor, the executive producer of the 2025 Grammys, said there are “standards” that the awards show must continue to uphold after Censori and West’s risqué stunt.

CENSORI’S MOTHER BREAKS SILENCE; GRAMMYS BOSS WEIGHS IN

It comes as Censori’s mother, Alexandra Censori, broke her silence to stand by her daughter.

“We are just normal people, living our own lives as privately as we can. I have nothing to say about Bianca, thank you,” Mrs Censori told the Daily Mail Australia.

Kapoor told People that Grammys guests are meant to follow an “artistic black-tie” dress code, adding, “but in the music industry, I guess that’s up for interpretation.”

Kapoor said there are different “standards” for attendees based on their relation to the show — West, 47, was notably nominated for best rap song but did not perform.

“Obviously there is a dress code for anybody actually performing on the show that we have to adhere to standards and practices,” he told the outlet.

“But as far as people attending and nominees attending, that would be something the [Recording] Academy would have to answer.”

While the Academy has not publicly shared their exact wardrobe rules, CBS issued a “wardrobe advisory” in 2013 stating that “buttocks and female breasts” should be “adequately covered” at the event.

In the statement, obtained by Deadline, they asked that “all talent appearing on camera” — including “audience members” — “please adhere to Network policy concerning wardrobe.”

They asked guests to avoid “sheer” or “see-through” clothing that “could possibly expose female breast nipples” and the exposure of “bare fleshy under curves of the buttock and buttock crack.”

They also required that the “genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible ‘puffy’ bare skin exposure.”

However, Censori’s barely-there outfit broke nearly all the “rules.”

The former Yeezy architect, 30, walked the red carpet in a completely see-through mini dress seemingly crafted from sheer stockings.

Censori left very little to the imagination in the daring design, opting to forgo any undergarments.

While she arrived in a black fur coat, she quickly removed the garment after West allegedly told her to start “making a scene,” according to a lip reader. “Drop it behind you and then turn, I got you,” he allegedly said, to which she replied, “All right, let’s go.”

The couple left after walking the red carpet and did not attend the actual awards ceremony, instead celebrating at a private afterparty.

Although many people have voiced their concern for Censori, a source told Us Weekly that the model “likes the attention”.

“Good or bad, they love it,” the insider told the outlet. “They love the buzz.”

Despite the sources’ analysis of the situation, a body language expert later claimed she showed signs of “fear” and “nervousness” before “baring it all.”
