Earthquake rocks Victoria’s Gippsland region
It comes just weeks after a 4.1 magnitude quake rocked Victoria’s high country.
Victoria has been rocked by an earthquake.
The magnitude 3 quake hit the state’s Gippsland region just before 8pm on Monday night.
The centre of the earthquake was at Sandy Point, near Wilsons Promontory, and was felt in Foster, Leongatha and Inverloch.
More than 80 reports were recorded with Geoscience Australia.
It comes just three weeks after a 4.1 magnitude quake hit Victoria’s high country on August 7.
