35/156It’s a match made in heaven for Michael Thompon’s two dogs Elki (pictured left) and Ted (right). Elki the black mini Schnauzer is 16-months-old, very bossy and determined while Ted the salt and pepper mini Schauzer is six-months-old and very chilled out. They are great partners in crime and love to dig holes and hide socks together! Swims at the beach, walks at the park and dinnertime rate among their favourite activities.

79/156Justin Celentane has taken us back to August 2014 with this picture of his team of sled dogs up at Keppels Hut in the Victorian High Country. Miki and Zoota are in the lead with Ice and Buddy at the rear. Three Malamutes and one Siberian husky, Justin said they trekked about 20km that day with beautiful snow up toa metre deep in places.

88/156This is Timber, a pure breed Kelpie. He was from a litter of five and born in a wood shed. The mother Kelly had the rest of the pups inside. "When my mum went outside she heard whining and soon found this little guy. He was so close to dying and was very cold and hungry. Lucky we saved him by getting him warm under our jumpers, he's very special to us and is very close with our family. He works great with the sheep and is full of character," said Jazmine Anderson from Gisborne, Victoria.
