1/114Jen and Billy Gray from Hill End in Victoria sent in this picture of Rusty, a Kelpie. They say Rusty was a special pup from the start. A year ago he broke his front leg and after attempts to pin it and keep him still failed, ended up having it amputated. But they say did not slow him down - half an hour after surgery he broke out of his cage at the clinic and ran around the building. He went back to work as soon as he was allowed, a tad slower but not by much. “Sadly just a month shy of his eighth birthday an accident made us have to make the hardest decision and send him over the rainbow bridge. “This photo shows his personality, he had the biggest heart and was loved by any and all who met him.”
