Testing clinics open in Mildura, Benalla, as cases rise

The number of known coronavirus cases in regional Victoria has reached 77. Here is a guide to the extent of its spread and where regional testing clinics are located.

CORONAVIRUS testing clinics have opened in Mildura and Benalla, bringing the total number of regional Victorian testing clinics to 15.

There are a further 12 clinics in metropolitan Melbourne and Greater Geelong, but parts of the state remain without them.

There are 77 known cases in regional Victoria, up from 66 yesterday.

There are multiple cases in the following local government areas:

Ballarat (5), Bass Coast (2), Baw Baw (3), Greater Geelong (23), Greater Shepparton (3), Latrobe (2), Macedon Ranges (3), Mitchell (5), Moira (3), Mount Alexander (5), Northern Grampians (2), Surf Coast (4), Warrnambool (4) and Wellington (2).

There is one known case in each of:

East Gippsland, Gannawarra, Glenelg, Greater Bendigo, Hepburn, Mansfield, Mildura, Moorabool, Moyne, South Gippsland and Yarriambiack.

Regional testing clinics are located at:

Albury-Wodonga, Ballarat, Bendigo, Benalla, Bacchus Marsh, Cowes (Phillip Island), Echuca, Geelong, Melton, Mildura, Shepparton, Swan Hill, Wangaratta, Wonthaggi and Warrnambool.
