Two people are fighting for life after a car towing a caravan crashed and rolled down an embankment on a Queensland highway.
Emergency services were called to the Bruce Highway near the Sunshine Coast about 11.20am on Thursday after reports of a serious crash.
A woman in her 50s was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with life threatening chest and abdominal injuries, a Queensland Ambulance spokesman told NewsWire.
A man, whose age is not yet known, also suffered life threatening injuries in the crash.
A third person suffered minor injuries.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
