A man has allegedly been found with a gun after a home in Sydney’s northwest was peppered with bullets.

CCTV captured the moment gunmen allegedly opened fire on the Marsden Park home at about 10.45pm on Thursday before fleeing in an SUV.

In a statement, NSW Police said officers from the Riverstone Police Command Area were called to the Marsden Park address, following reports that shots had been fired into a house on Steeple Pl.

No injuries were reported, though police are still investigating who the intended target was.

Shortly after, a car was found alight in a park in the suburb of Girraween – about 20km away from the Steeple Pl address.

Fire and Rescue NSW crews extinguished the blaze shortly after arriving at Oramzi Rd about 11.20pm, but the car had been completely destroyed.

CCTV from a neighbouring property captured the moment a black SUV pulled up in the small neighbourhood in the pouring rain.

In the footage obtained by 9News, two men are seen exiting the vehicle before the alleged shooting.
