P-plater found slumped over her passenger seat
A P-plate driver was allegedly found four times over the legal alcohol limit and slumped over her passenger seat.
A P-plate driver has found slumped over her passenger seat and four times over the legal limit after a big Friday night.
Police were patrolling in Hastings on the Mornington Peninsula just before 4am on Saturday when they noticed an illegally parked car on High St.
Officers checked the car and found a woman sleeping while slumped over her passenger seat.
The 39-year-old woman, who police claim was driving the car, allegedly blew 0.18 on the breath test.
The result is four times the legal alcohol limit for fully licensed drivers, but P-plate drivers are not permitted to have any alcohol at all in their system while driving.
The Crib Point resident had her probationary licence suspended immediately and her car was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1170.
Police expect she will receive a summons to court in relation to the alleged drink driving offence.
